Welcome to the EML Research gGmbH. EML Research is a private research institute focussing on Information Technology and its applications. Our aim is to develop innovative information processing systems that combine highly sophisticated technology with optimum user-friendliness.
At present there are four research groups at EML Research, working in the fields of bioinformatics, databases for scientific applications, and
computational linguistics.

November 4, 2009: EML Research Fellowship for Isabel Rojas
September 3, 2009: Rebecca Wade, MCM group leader, has been appointed as a member of "Cellular networks", a cluster of excellence at the University of Heidelberg.
August 18, 2009: A portrait on MBM group leader Frauke Gräter and her work at "Biotechnologie.de", an information platform of the German Ministry of Education and Research BMBF (in German language).
