Isabel Rojas, PhD, former group leader of the SDBV group and now consultant to EML Research, has significantly contributed to the scientific agenda of EML Research in many ways:
She has successfully established a new research group on "Scientific Databases and Visualization (SDBV)".
She has been instrumental in creating a platform for the collaboration with other research groups in EML Research groups by providing experimental data to various types of simulation.
She has been extremely creative and persevering in defining and implementing the information resource SABIO-RK, which has earned EML Research and its SDBV group international recognition.
For these outstanding achievements Isabel Rojas was awarded the status of a Fellow on November 4, 2009.
