EML Research is located in the Heidelberg
Villa Bosch and in an adjacent building. The Villa Bosch, the former residence of Nobel Prize laureate Carl Bosch, was completely renovated in 1997, and also houses the Klaus Tschira Foundation gGmbH, the EML GmbH, and a number of external intitutions. Events take place in the Studio, the conference annex of Villa Bosch.
Heidelberg is located right in the middle of the Rhein-Neckar region, remarkable for its flourishing business enterprise and for its scientific excellence. The proximity to the Universities of Heidelberg, Mannheim, Karlsruhe and Darmstadt, a number of universities of applied science, and numerous private and public institutions make Heidelberg an ideal site for cross-disciplinary research.
