2BioSim
is an European Network of Excellence. Our part within BioSim is to
develop models and methods that support the prediction of the
biochemical fate of drugs in an organism.
Our
model system is yeast and specifically its central metabolism with
reactions around the corresponding pathways that are involved in
xenobiotics transformations.
The
work is done in collaboration with various groups within BioSim, but
especially, Martin Bertau and Lutz Brusch (TU Dresden), as well as Hans
Westerhoff (Amsterdam).
